Group urges Nigerians to prioritize national interest, hail reforms

The Oduduwa Development Initiative (ODI) has called on young people and citizens across Nigeria to prioritize national interest in all dealings and support the ongoing economic reforms under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

In a statement signed by its President, Amb. Akinyele Olasumbo, ODI expressed appreciation for the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, describing it as a transformative blueprint aimed at reshaping Nigeria’s economic trajectory.

The group emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort in achieving national aspirations.

ODI also commended the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Mrs. Kemi Nanna Nandap, for her dedication to enhancing immigration services.

The organization praised her role in modernizing border control and immigration management through the e-Border Solution Project, which integrates advanced technology for improved security and efficiency.

Among her key achievements, the group highlighted the successful establishment of a Command and Control Centre at NIS headquarters, the deployment of e-Border facilities linked to CCTV surveillance, and the introduction of Passenger Pre-boarding Screening Solutions (API/PNI) to streamline clearance processes at entry points.

Furthermore, ODI acknowledged Mrs. Nandap’s commitment to staff welfare, including the payment of backlog entitlements, provision of utility vehicles for border patrol, and development of a data-driven migration management system.

“As an organization, we proudly identify with this exceptional leader from the Oduduwa lineage for her contributions toward rebranding the NIS and supporting President Tinubu’s vision for a renewed Nigeria,” ODI stated.

The group urged Nigerians to rally behind the administration’s policies, emphasizing that national progress depends on collective effort and dedication to shared aspirations.
