NDDC MD, Ogbuku bags Public Service Award

The Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, has been conferred with a Public Service Award by The Sun Publishing Limited for repositioning the interventionist agency to implement policies and projects that are improving the wellbeing of the people of the region.
 
Presenting the award to the Ogbuku during the 2024 Sun Awards held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos State, recently, the Minister of State Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu, commended the leadership qualities of the NDDC boss, urging him do more for the people of the region.
  
In his remarks, Ogbuku expressed joy over the award, restating his commitment to sustain the tempo of bringing development to the Niger Delta. According to him, the award was a clear recognition of the changes that are going on at the commission. He further stated that the award was very important to the organisation.

Also speaking at the event, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, commended the efforts of the current management to transform the face of Niger Delta communities so far.
