Founder of the Zidora Group, Dr. Arinze Harris Madueke has received the African Illustrious Award for his philanthropic services in nation-building, having applied his services to leave lasting impacts in different sectors.

Madueke, who hauled from Ukpor, Anambra State’s Nnewi South Local Government, devoted the greater part of his life to making individuals in his community and beyond better off. His life experience from rags to riches as a businessperson and philanthropist is a classic example of hard work and resilience.

Philanthropy undertaken by Madueke has particularly encompassed youth empowerment and combat of the issue of unemployment in Anambra State. He has recently introduced a sporting training scheme aimed at upskilling the locals youths to undertake pivotal tasks and roles in sports. Aside from improving physical fitness, the process facilitates unlocking of youthful potential, which enables the youth population to pursue career opportunities in sport as well as its related profession.

For the success of the programme, Madueke collaborated with a professional training institute that will provide comprehensive skill development to 200 individuals. The programme in a well-defined format teaches everything related to sports management, coaching, and athletic training, and equips participants with the skills and tools necessary to make it big in the desired profession.

Apart from his involvement in sports, Madueke is also the visionary founder of the Zidora Group, which has diversified into aviation, logistics, media, agriculture, and technology. His business acumen and creative thinking not only saw many employed but also saw the economy of the region blossom.

By means of the Zidora Aid Foundation, he has been significantly committed to various humanitarian endeavours, including educational scholarship programmes, food giveaways, and refuge for the disadvantaged.
