“Sports play a significant role in promoting unity, discipline, love, and friendship among citizens,” the Governor stated, adding that his administration has made substantial investments in sports infrastructure, including the ongoing construction of a modern stadium along Numan Road to boost sports development in the state.
Earlier, the Director of Athletics at the National Sports Commission, Mrs. Kiana Mbora, who led the Unity Torch delegation, explained that the torch’s journey across the country is to raise awareness and build excitement ahead of the national event.
She praised the Adamawa State Government for its commitment to ensuring the active participation of its teams.
