Intreensic unveils Africa-focused payments training to fuel fintech talent surge

As Africa’s fintech industry accelerates, so does the demand for highly skilled payments professionals, a gap that payments education firm Intreensic is determined to close.

This week, the company announced the launch of a new set of accredited courses designed to build Africa’s next generation of payment experts, alongside open admissions for its upcoming learning cohorts.

Founded by global payments authority, Nkebet Mesele, Intreensic offers a wide-ranging curriculum spanning the fundamentals of electronic payments to advanced topics like cybersecurity, fintech entrepreneurship, remote payments, and cross-border remittances.

“Access to specialised knowledge and structured training is one of the biggest barriers holding back Africa’s fintech potential,” Mesele said. “Our mission is to provide professionals with the tools they need to not just participate in the payments revolution, but to lead it.”

The African digital payments market, projected to surpass $150 billion in transaction volume over the next five years, has become a magnet for fintech innovation. However, the sector struggles with regulatory complexity, operational challenges and shortage of trained talent.

Intreensic’s new course offerings, including The Payments Professional, The Payments Operations Professional, Risk and Regulations in Payments and Mastering Fintech, aim to fill these gaps, helping participants navigate everything from real-time payments to fraud prevention and international compliance.

The courses are delivered online via a robust learning management system, allowing students from across the continent access interactive content and real-world case studies. The company reports active learners from Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Botswana, and Namibia, with plans to expand local presence in additional African markets.

What sets Intreensic apart is its dual international accreditation through The CPD Group and The CPD Certification Service, which ensures that its programs meet global educational standards, a factor Mesele believes is key to unlocking both regional and international opportunities for graduates.

Enrollment is now open for upcoming cohorts, with details available on the intreensic website.
