We’re ready to welcome back all C&S run away members, says Supreme Head Eneogwe

• As Church Marks 100 Years In God’s Vineyard
As the Praying Band of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church Worldwide turns 100 years, this year, its Supreme Head, His Grace, Baba Aladura, Ferguson Eneogwe, has called on all those who left the church to form theirs to come back to the fold.

The Supreme Head made this call at a press briefing titled: “Embracing Diversity In Unity,” held at the general headquarters of the church in Mushin, Lagos,to commemorate the 100 years of the church.

Eneogwere called that Praying Band was anointed by Baba Orimolade in 1925 and that the church is 100 years from 1925 to 2025, adding that C&S is making every effort to bring back all those who broke away from the church.

According to him, “we are ready to welcome them back because the church has been in the forefront of unifying all C&S churches based on the truth.”

Eneogwe disclosed that the church is not fetish in its practice and will never be involved in fetish things such as killing of ram or any of such things, stressing that C&S relies on the doctrines laid down by the late Saint Moses Orimolade.

He said: “We are not involved in fetish things. In a true C&S, we abhor anything sacrifice such as killing of ram. If you go to any C&S church and you see members killing ram, leave that place because Jesus Christ has shed his blood for us and we need not to observe any other sacrifice. We believe in fasting and prayers to obtain whatever we want from God.

“Since the death of Saint Moses Orimolade, C& S has been in the forefront of unifying all C&S churches based on the truth. We stand for the truth, and the church is headed by our Lord Jesus Christ as seen in Matthew 28:19, 20. We invite people to come with their faith believing that the blood of Jesus Christ is enough to meet all their needs.

“We stand on the Bible, and maintain the legacies we have inherited from our forefathers. Jesus Christ used Saint Moses Orimolade to establish C&S church on earth and we maintain that it is of Christ and nothing more. We preach the gospel that Christ is our head.”

The role of C&S in nation building, according to the Supreme Head, is to pray for the country and its leaders, so that, there will be peace in the land.

Attributing the current situation in the country to lack of fear for God, he urged Nigerians to return to God their maker, and stopping killing one another.

He also called on those in authority to wake up to their responsibilities and provide jobs, empower both men and women and the issue of security will be taken care of.

Activities marking the centenary will begin from December 1 to December 7, 2025 and they are: corporate social responsibility, revival service by the Army of Salvation on December 2. While December 6, 2025 is the grand finale of the anniversary service of the church, which will hold at the Praying Band ground,IlaraOgijo, and thanksgiving service in all the constituent churches on December 7, among others.
