The burial rites of Pastor Agnes Ngozi Ezitonye, aged 84, will commence on May 27, 2025, in Lagos State.

According to the family, the funeral arrangements will begin with a Christian wake on May 27 at the Assemblies of God Church, Sabo 3, Ajangbadi, Lagos, at 4:00 p.m.

The funeral service for Pastor Ezitonye will take place on May 30, followed by interment at Atan Cemetery, Unilag Road, Yaba, Lagos, at 10:00 a.m. A reception will be held immediately after, at 12:00 noon, at the Archbishop Akinde Christian Event Resource Centre, CMS Grammar School, Bariga, Lagos.

She was the aunt of The Guardian reporter, Adaku Onyenucheya, and is survived by children and grandchildren.
