The Basico Alumni Association has established a Mentorship Committee to nurture a brighter future for Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) students. The Chairman, Dr Suleyman Abdu Ndanusa, pledged the association’s commitment to the initiative, citing objectives such as Holistic Development, Skill Bridging, Networking, and Sustainable Impact.

Led by a former Minister of Water Resources, Suleiman Adamu, the committee promised to work tirelessly to achieve the set objectives. Other members include Sanusi Maikudi (Vice Chairman); Bello Maccido; Asma’u Sarki Mohammed; Barnabas Omali and Dorothy Nuhu Aken’Ova.

The rest are Hussaini Yahaya; Rabi Musa Saulawa; Chris Echikwu; Abubakar Aliyu Aziz, Dr. Nuru Yakubu, and Christana Amina Shehu (Secretary).
The Secretary-General, Tamani Yusuf, urged the committee to implement a transformative programme that would uplift the nation’s socio-economic fortunes.
