The 2023 governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has said that it is possible to achieve a Nigeria and a Lagos State that works for everyone.

The mission is clear and the commitment is unwavering.”

IN another development, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State has disclosed that its political structures are not being transferred to any political parties, particularly the African Democratic Congress (ADC), under any form of coalition or alliance.

The PDP urged its members in the state not to be swayed by the recent political development in the country. Also, the governorship candidate in 2024 election in Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, said he had no plan to join the ADC.

ALSO, the Ondo State chapter of the Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT) has described as a political mirage the ADC-led coalition’s bid to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027.

In a statement announcing the state officials, senatorial and local council coordinators of the Movement in the state, Director of Media, Oyewamide Ojo, noted that the recent unveiling of former PDP stalwarts as members of the ADC was a congregation of what he described as shadow chasers.

According to him, members of the coalition in the state are those who had failed at the polls, as well lacking in credibility to influence political change.
