NASCON Allied Industries Plc, a subsidiary of the Dangote Group, has appointed Tonya Lawani as an independent non-executive director. Lawani is a seasoned corporate strategist and governance expert with over a decade of experience in leadership, board service, and business development across various sectors.

Her appointment reinforces NASCON’s commitment to strong corporate governance, innovation and sustainable growth in Nigeria’s food processing industry.

She currently serves on several corporate boards and is a known advocate for ethical leadership, inclusive growth, and capacity building in Africa.

A member of the Chartered Institute of Directors, Lawani is the Managing Director/CEO of Seal Group.

She earned a BSc in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, an MBA from the Metropolitan School of Business and Management, UK and completed executive leadership courses at Lagos Business School and Harvard University.
