Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State

The governor, who was represented by Chief Babatunde Tijani, made this known while presenting an 18-seater bus to the Ibadan Foodstuffs Sellers Association, Bodija International Market.

He stated that the bus donation was aimed at easing the movement of the union’s executive members within and outside the state. The gesture, he added, was part of the governor’s promise to support market associations across the state.

Tijani emphasised that the donation reflects the cordial relationship between the Makinde administration and market leaders, urging continuous cooperation and unity among the various market groups and associations.

In his remarks, the Babaloja of Bodija International Market, Chief Ismael Aderemi Jimoh, expressed appreciation to the governor for the support and pledged the association’s unwavering backing for his administration.

Gabriel Babajide; Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Mrs. Toyin Balogun; and the Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Mr. Seun Olufade.
