The African Quality Academy, a foremost institution committed to advancing quality culture, standards, and best practices across the continent, is set to hold the African Quality Congress, Achievements Awards and Exhibition on July 30, 2025 by 11 am.

Now in its 11th year, this year’s event, to be held at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria, with the theme ‘Managing Quality for Growth, Innovation, and Improvement’ will reflect the growing importance of quality as a strategic tool for driving sustainable growth, operational innovation, and continuous institutional improvement across the continent.

In a statement, the organisers said: “African Quality Congress (AQC), a leading pan-African platform for promoting excellence in quality management, policy dialogue, and best practice exchange, has grown into a major continental forum for fostering professional engagement and a culture of continuous improvement. Each year, it brings together leaders from government, business.”

And civil society to explore actionable strategies and elevate quality standards in both public and private sectors across Africa.” According to them, in recognition of exceptional contributions to quality advancement, the African Quality Achievements Awards (AQAA) will honour individuals, organisations, and government institutions that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to quality assurance, performance excellence, and customer satisfaction.

“These awards recognise achievements in applying quality metrics and best practices to planning, implementation, and control systems that support both corporate and developmental goals in the profit and non-profit sectors,” the organisers said.

Complementing the award, the event will feature a vibrant Quality Exhibition and Showcase aimed at presenting quality-driven innovations, products, and services of organisations. The exhibition offers participants the opportunity to increase brand visibility, interact with key stakeholders, and highlight their leadership in quality excellence.
