2027: APC USA chapter tasks Yilwatda on door-to-door campaign strategy

Ahead of 2027, the All Progressives Congress (APC) USA Chapter has called on the newly selected National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, to adopt a door-to-door campaign strategy.

Led by Prof. Tai Balofin, the chapter in a statement on Sunday argued that the strategy would enhance people-oriented voter education programmes of the party.

The chapter believes these initiatives will position the APC to connect with grassroots supporters, counter opposition challenges, and achieve electoral success in 2027.

It further expressed confidence in Prof. Yilwatda’s ability to align the party with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, promoting impactful reforms, inclusivity, and adherence to the party’s core values.

Extending its heartfelt congratulations to Yilwatda on his emergence as the new National Chairman of the APC, it commended the party leadership for selecting a distinguished technocrat and academic guru capable of revitalizing the party’s fortunes.

Balofin expressed the chapter’s support for Prof. Yilwatda, urging him to leverage his expertise to rebrand the APC through innovative political policies and winning strategies to secure victory in the 2027 elections.

The chapter emphasized the importance of prioritizing the welfare of the party’s National Working Committee and Exco to foster unity and strengthen the party’s foundation.

The chapter prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and guidance as Prof. Yilwatda assumes this critical leadership role.

Prof. Yilwatda’s appointment follows the resignation of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, marking a new era for the APC. The USA Chapter wishes him success and pledges its full support as he steers the party toward national progress and electoral triumph.
