The Web3 Academy has recorded over 2,000 sign-ups to its waitlist within its first week of public launch, according to a statement by its management.

The platform, which offers Web3-focused digital training to young Nigerians, is aimed at supporting career development in emerging blockchain technologies.

Mr. Adebayo Michael Adesola, Chief Executive Officer of The Web3 Academy, commented on the early traction saying, “The response has been overwhelming—and it proves one thing: young Nigerians are ready. They’re no longer waiting for the government or traditional systems to catch up. They want new skills. They want to earn globally. And they want to start now.”

The initiative targets individuals without prior tech experience, offering instruction in areas such as airdrop participation, decentralised autonomous organisations (DAOs), and online community coordination.

According to the platform, these skills are intended to connect users with remote employment opportunities in the global digital economy.

The Web3 Academy is positioning itself as a practical alternative to conventional academic models. In addition to its structured curriculum, it has released an introductory guide which provides information on income generation without requiring initial financial investment or coding expertise.
