NIPCO Plc, an integrated downstream operator in Nigeria’s hydrocarbon industry, has encouraged its employees to increase their efforts as the organisation aims to be a leading company in the Oil & Gas sector.
The Managing Director/CEO, NIPCO Plc,Suresh Kumar, said this during a ceremony in Lagos to celebrate employees who have worked for the company for between 10 and 20 years.
Kumar highlighted the contributions of the award recipients some of whom are among the company’s first staff members.
“These employees have contributed significantly to the development and growth of the organisation,” he stated. He noted that the commitment shown by the awardees aligns with the company’s expansion goals pursued over the past two decades.
“It is encouraging that several of you have been part of the company’s achievements over the last 21 years. Your commitment reflects NIPCO’s reputation as a preferred workplace and provides an example to new employees,” the Managing Director emphasised
Since its establishment in 2004, the company has seen positive developments, yet there are areas identified for further improvement, especially with the deregulation of the downstream sector.
The NIPCO boss congratulated the long service award recipients, wishing them success in their future roles at the company. On behalf of the awardees, the Manager of LPG Operations, Khamal Badmus expressed appreciation for the recognition, stating that it would serve as encouragement for continued diligent service and motivate newer employees.
