Does the phrase Nigeria is everywhere sound familiar? It’s time to rephrase to Nigeria is winning big everywhere in the world as Isabella Emike Olatunji, a Canada-based Nigerian has been crowned Mrs. Canada Globe 2025-2026, also joining the league of Nigerians who are not only flying the country’s flag in shining Green-White-Green to the world but doing excellently well amongst their contemporaries in the international spaces.
This win, which got Isabella Olatunji, who is an advocate and community leader crowned Mrs. Canada Globe 2025-2026, makes her the first Nigerian woman to represent Manitoba as a delegate, become a Mrs. Canada finalist, and win the national title.
Olatunji’s journey reflects the leadership of Annie Manjuran, the Founder and CEO of Mrs. Canada Inc. The pageant, founded on the principle of ‘Beauty with Purpose,” positions pageantry as a platform for women’s empowerment. Under Annie’s direction, the organisation has created an inclusive space for married women to showcase their intelligence, talent, and cultural heritage. Her initiative shows that a pageant can be a catalyst for positive change. Isabella will represent Canada on the international stage at the Mrs. Globe pageant next year.
Isabella Olatunji’s reign amongst other responsibilities is to promote dignified living for all Canadians. She was also honoured with the Queen of Peace Award, reflecting her commitment to peacebuilding and humanitarian efforts.
As Mrs. Canada Globe, Olatunji’s platform is an extension of her Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Manitoba. Her advocacy focuses on eliminating period poverty through her organisation, Kingdom Minded Queens (KMQ), which she established in 2018. Till date, Isabella has provided over 300 menstrual hygiene kits to vulnerable populations both locally and internationally, including a pledge to provide 100 kits for Manitoba wildfire evacuees. Her reign will focus on expanding access to menstrual products across Canada, drawing inspiration from models in Scotland and New Zealand.
The Mrs. Globe pageant is owned by Dr. Tracy Kemble as part of the Women In Need (W.I.N.) Foundation International.
