Governor Umar A. Namadi of Jigawa State has relieved Rabi’u Garba Kaugama of his appointment as Special Adviser to the Governor on State Assembly Matters, with immediate effect.
This decision was communicated in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.
It was also contained in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer in charge of the office of the SSG, Comrade Ismail Mohammed Dutse.
Parts of the statement read, “With this development, all rights and privileges attached to his office as Special Adviser to the Governor on State Assembly Matters have been withdrawn.”
Additionally, the statement directed the former special adviser to immediately hand over all government properties in his possession to the office of the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State.
