The QM Foundation has taken a significant step towards improving healthcare in Sakwa and Zaki communities in Bauchi State by launching a drug support program that has benefited over 500 men, women, and children. The initiative targets prevalent health issues such as malaria, typhoid fever, ulcers, and hypertension, providing much-needed relief to residents.
Malam Musa Sakwa, a grateful beneficiary who collected medication at Zay’Afuwah Patent Medicine Store, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the program. “This support has been a blessing to me and my family. We’ve been struggling with malaria and typhoid fever, and the medication provided has given us hope and improved our health.”
Hajara Isa, a widow from Zaki, shared her personal experience with the program. “As a widow, it’s been challenging to afford medication for my children and myself. The QM Foundation’s support has been a lifeline. I’m grateful for their kindness and generosity.”
To ensure widespread reach, drugs were distributed at six medicine stores, including Zay’Afuwah Patent Medicine Store, making it convenient for beneficiaries to access the medication they need.
