Group condoles with APC Chairman Yilwatda over mother’s death

The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Renewed Hope Democratic Vanguard (PBAT-DV) has commiserated with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, over the death of his mother, Mama Lydia Toma Yilwatda.

In a statement made available to journalists on Thursday, the National Coordinator of PBAT-DV, Dr Abubakar Jimoh, described the late Mama Lydia as a kind-hearted and peace-loving woman who lived a life of service and care.

Jimoh noted that testimonies from family members and community members pointed to her generosity, God-fearing nature and commitment to peace.

He added that Mama Lydia was blessed to witness the successes and strides of her children, particularly that of the APC National Chairman.

His words: “The entire members of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Renewed Hope Democratic Vanguard (PBAT-DV) sympathise with our amiable National Chairman, Prof Yilwatda, and his beloved family in this trying moment. It is our fervent prayers that Almighty God will grant the gentle soul of Mama Lydia Yilwatda eternal rest while comforting the family. Mama obviously lived a worthy and fulfilled life worthy of emulation.”

Mama Lydia Yilwatda passed away at the age of 83.
