Soun of Ogbomosho visits Oba Ladoja

The Soun of Ogbomosholand, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, on Sunday, paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja.

The meeting, held in Ibadan, was described as more than a royal engagement, but a historic encounter deeply rooted in tradition, mutual respect, and shared aspirations for the future.

According to Oba Olaoye, the discussions between the two monarchs were warm and meaningful, touching on unity, progress, and the collective destiny of the Yoruba people.

He noted that the visit was a moment of joy and fulfilment for him, as it reaffirmed the long-standing bond between Ibadan and Ogbomosho.

“May this bond of friendship and collaboration continue to grow stronger, for in our unity lies the path to greater peace, prosperity, and flourishing for generations to come,” the Soun said.
