The Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial Zone, Sunday Marshall Katung, has commiserated with the Kaduna State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), AbdulGafar Alabelewe, over the unfortunate and sudden death of his wife, Hajara Alabelewe.
Katung, in a condolence letter, said he was immensely saddened by the demise of the Journalist’s wife.
According to him, the late Mrs. Alabelewe was a woman full of kindness, compassion, and a commitment to her family and everyone who came into contact with her.
He said, “Late Hajara was a symbol of guidance, compassion, and integrity to not only family, but also in the entire community. Her legacy of humility, wisdom, and commitment will remain a beacon of inspiration to many who knew her.”
The letter read: “I received with deep sorrow the news of the passing of your beloved Wife, Hajara, on Sunday, 24th April, 2025. My thoughts and prayers are with you, the children and the entire family during this difficult time.
“To lose a dear wife, a constant and loving companion through good and bad times, is a blow only a man of unshakeable faith can withstand. In times like this when sorrow runs deep, I pray that the God of all comfort will surround you and the family with his peace that passes all understanding”.
Senator Katung remarked, “Take solace in the fact that your Wife, Hajara, was a symbol of guidance, compassion, and integrity to not only your family, but in the entire community. Her legacy of humility, wisdom, and commitment will remain a beacon of inspiration to many who knew her.
“May Allah grant your beloved wife peace in Jannah and give you and your family strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss.”
