Adobe, a multinational software company, has announced that it will discontinue its video editing app, Premiere Rush, by September 30, 2026, according to a notice sent to users via email on Thursday.
Adobe introduced Premiere Rush in 2018 as a streamlined video editing tool designed for mobile content creators.
The company disclosed that Premiere Rush will be removed from Adobe.com and app stores starting September 30, 2025.
Adobe added that “active subscribers will still be able to install the Premiere Rush desktop app through the ‘More apps from Adobe’ section of Creative Cloud Desktop.”

According to the company, after September 30, 2025, ” existing users may continue to use Premiere Rush on mobile and desktop devices where it is already installed.”
It also noted that “renewals of Premiere Rush subscriptions will stop, so you may lose access to premium features.”
“Also, new devices and/or operating system updates may affect the reliability and performance of the app. Users who rely on Premiere Rush for existing projects should consider staying on current configurations.” Adobe added.
Adobe, however, warned that “technical support will end on 30 September 2026. After that date, Premiere Rush will no longer be available via Creative Cloud Desktop, and the app may no longer function.”
