Solidifying Nigeria’s position as an emerging hub for digital beauty innovation, Stella Ndekile, a certified medical aesthetician, renowned beauty entrepreneur, medical laboratory scientist and the founder of Nuban Cares, recently unveiled a pioneering AI Skin Decoder, an initiative that utilises sophisticated data analysis to go beyond surface-level beauty.
This platform poised to reshape the African beauty industry by assessing key factors such as hydration, texture, and pigmentation provides a comprehensive and evidence-based skincare analysis, delivering personalised product recommendations directly to the user.
Speaking at the tool’s launch during the just concluded 17th Lagos Makeup Fair, Ndekile said this approach moves the conversation from generic solutions to vital insight, empowering consumers to make informed choices.
“The tool allows us to offer precise, personalised skincare solutions that align with our mission of promoting holistic well-being,” Ndekile said.
The unveiling, which drew commendations from attendees at the fair, signals a broader opportunity for further research and technology adoption across the personal care industry.
