A former Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ibadan branch, Mr. Akeem Agbaje, has paid homage to the Olubadan-designate, Oba Adewolu Ladoja, describing his reign as one that holds great promises for Ibadan and its people.

In a statement made available to journalists in Ibadan, Agbaje expressed confidence that Oba Ladoja’s vast experience, landmark achievements, and extensive networks in politics, business, and national service would further propel Ibadan into a new phase of social and cultural development.

The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and 2027 governorship aspirant in Oyo State said that the Olubadan-designate has, over the years, demonstrated exemplary leadership as an elder statesman and community figure, making him well-positioned to steer the traditional institution with wisdom and inclusiveness.

“As Ibadan eagerly awaits Kabiesi’s coronation, I have no doubt that Oba Adewolu Ladoja will bring to the throne his deep understanding of governance, his lifelong service to humanity, and his commitment to the cultural heritage of our people.

“I pray Almighty Allah to grant Kabiesi a peaceful and impactful reign that will strengthen the unity and progress of Ibadanland.”
