Joshua Aaron moderates panel on digital trust at Portsmouth Tech & Cultural Hub Summit

At the Tech & Cultural Hub Summit 2025 held on September 6, Joshua Aaron moderated a pivotal panel on digital trust, guiding discussions on identity, security, and community resilience in the digital age. The summit, themed “Navigating Digital Frontiers: AI, Safety & Communities in the Modern Business World,” brought together civic leaders, MPs, and technology experts from across the UK.

Panel 2, titled “Identity, Security & Building Trust in the Digital Age,” focused on strategies for strengthening digital resilience, safeguarding vulnerable users, and embedding trust in emerging technologies. Aaron steered conversations covering authenticity, personal branding, AI-driven fraud, open-source tools for local communities, and data governance frameworks that underpin trustworthy adoption of digital systems.

Aaron said during the session, “Communities must take an active role in shaping how technology serves them. Digital trust is not just about systems; it’s about the people who use them, and the frameworks that protect them.”

Delegates praised both the discussion and Aaron’s moderation. One attendee described the session as “a really interesting and needed discussion,” while others called Aaron “an outstanding moderator” and the event “fantastic.”

By bringing together policymakers, tech practitioners, and civic leaders, the session underscored the importance of embedding trust and ethical governance into digital innovation. The panel further reinforced Aaron’s profile as a thought leader in digital strategy, showing how emerging technologies can be leveraged responsibly to benefit communities.
