Firm, subsidiaries unveil solutions for built environment at Lagos expo

Julius Berger Nigeria Plc., along with its subsidiaries, has showcased unique innovations, craftsmanship, and an expansive portfolio in the construction sector at the recently concluded Big 5 and Ecobank expositions in Lagos State.

The Big 5 event took place at the historic Landmark Events Centre, while the other was held inside the expansive Ecobank Pan African Centre in Lagos.

Conscious of the opportunity the development presented to stakeholders in the sector, Nigeria’s best in the provision of aluminum and glass solutions, ABUMET, the pioneer in design and engineering in the country, PrimeTech Nigeria Ltd., as well as the company’s Excellence Centre and Julius Berger Precast Services, stormed the event with new innovations and revised editions of their products and services.

Each Julius Berger subsidiary brought its unique flair to the events, from cutting-edge architectural designs to advanced solutions and premium aluminium systems.

A Facility Manager and officer in charge of the company’s Excellence Centre, Aleksandar Serafimoski, said that the Centre had a more diverse portfolio this time around.

He further said that from the huge number of visitors to the stand, more firms are willing to collaborate with them rather than individual customers, saying that, above all, the exhibition is a good platform to be seen in the construction industry.

Also, Commercial Manager for the Julius Berger Precast Services, Christian Bauer, said that they are representing Julius Berger, and what they are basically trying to do is to showcase that they are branching out into smaller scales.

In his remark, Head of the Architecture Department at PrimeTech, Joseph Abba, expressed his excitement that the event was well-attended, saying: “Thus far, we have met a lot of people we have worked with in the past and also people that we have worked for, and potential clients.”

Daniel Oladejo, a Sales Manager at Julius Berger, said the Big 5 had been a very effective platform for the company to let visitors know that Julius Berger could handle any project, no matter how intricate it is.

On the last day of the Design and Build event, Managing Director of Temolat Ventures, a business partner of AFP, Olusegun Ogundero, summarised his impression of the twin expos, saying, “Put together, the twin expos drew industry leaders, investors, and curious attendees from across the country.
