As part of its special student enrolment drive in Nigeria, the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Ghana, is set to hold interactive sessions with prospective Nigerian students, parents, and educational influencers from Saturday, October 4, to Saturday, October 18, 2025.
The enrolment drive is specifically targeted at those interested in pursuing careers in teaching, education, and related academic disciplines.
According to a statement by Prof. Kolawole Raheem, a consultant to UEW, who is also a former faculty member in the institution, a dedicated UEW team, including Professor C.K. Assuah and Mr. Samuel Anim, will be in Nigeria between October 4 and 18 for public presentations.
The presentation sessions are scheduled to hold at OoduaHouse, Ikeja; Trinity University, University of Lagos (UNILAG), Lagos State University (LASU).Osun State University, Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Ikorodu, and Tai Solarin Federal University of Education, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
Raheem stated that admissions for the 2025/2026 academic year were currently open. He added that the public presentation sessions would give a unique opportunity to prospective students to meet UEW representatives directly, receive on-site application support, and get detailed information on fees, scholarships, and accommodation.
