Funeral rites for Chief Amos Bolanle Olaniyan, who died on August 30, 2025, began yesterday with a Service of Songs and Night of Tributes in Lagos.

The commendation service will hold today at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 16 Ikotun Road, Idimu, Lagos, at 9:00 a.m.

A Christian wake will hold tomorrow at the Civic Centre, Ore-Ondo Road, Ondo, at 5:00 p.m.

He will be buried on Friday after a funeral service at The Cathedral Church of St. Stephen, 54 Oke Aluko, Ondo, at 8:00 a.m.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs Olayinka Olaniyan; children, including Dr Ibukun and Prof Kofo Odeyemi, Bode and Dr Tosin Elemide Gbenga and Shola Olaniyan, Kunle and Tola Omotola, and Dr Gbenga and Lola Oyesanmi; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
