Today marks a major milestone in Africa’s remote work movement as RemoteWorkPadi, a growing job platform for remote workers, officially launches its new and improved platform to the public.
The journey began with the release of the MVP on March 31st, 2025, which focused solely on providing verified remote job opportunities for African talent. At a time when many job seekers were falling victim to scam offers, unpaid internships, or unrealistic job promises, RemoteWorkPadi entered the space to raise the bar and restore trust in remote job opportunities.
Since the MVP launch, the platform has grown to over 13,000 users, with 500 monthly active users relying on its curated job board every month to find meaningful, fully remote roles. “We didn’t want to be another job board. We wanted to be the remote job board people trust, a place where jobseekers don’t have to second-guess the legitimacy of a job post,” said Alice Awobite-Joshua, founder of RemoteWorkPadi.
RemoteWorkPadi was born from personal frustration and a bold mission. As Africa’s number one remote work coach and product manager, Alice had seen far too many people apply to hundreds of roles with no response, fall for job scams, or get stuck in underpaid roles because they didn’t know how to position themselves. The platform was created to fix all of that, starting with posting only verified, high-quality jobs and gradually evolving into a smart ecosystem for remote job seekers. With this new release, RemoteWorkPadi is doubling down on its mission to help 10,000 African jobseekers land remote roles by the year 2030.
The newly launched version of RemoteWorkPadi introduces a suite of AI-powered tools built specifically to make job applications faster, smarter, and more efficient. Job seekers can now auto-generate tailored cover letters in seconds, rewrite or review their LinkedIn profiles, analyse their resumes for ATS compatibility, generate optimised bullet points for their resumes, write compelling emails to hiring managers, and instantly extract relevant keywords from job descriptions to improve their application success rate.
All of these tools are built inside the platform, meaning job seekers can go from finding a job to submitting an optimised application without opening multiple tabs or juggling different templates. “We wanted to reduce the friction. People are tired of switching tools, copying templates, and second-guessing every word they type. With this version of RemoteWorkPadi, we’re giving job seekers everything they need in one place,” Alice said.
“Every tool we built was tested with real job seekers. Our goal wasn’t just to build AI features; it was to develop features that actually help people get hired faster. We’ve automated the most stressful parts of job applications so users can focus on showing up with confidence,” added Roland Joshua, Chief Technology Officer of RemoteWorkPadi.
Unlike global platforms that often ignore the unique challenges faced by African talents, RemoteWorkPadi was built by a Nigerian founder who understands those realities firsthand. The jobs are remote, the tools are intuitive, and the community is active. More importantly, the platform is rooted in hope, integrity, and intentionality. RemoteWorkPadi is not just a platform; it is a mission, a movement, and a commitment to making remote work accessible, legitimate, and empowering for job seekers across the continent.
With the product now live, the team is focused on onboarding more users, expanding its list of remote job sources, partnering with career coaches, and continuing to improve its AI capabilities. Whether you are looking for your first remote job or your next big opportunity, RemoteWorkPadi is designed to be the one-stop platform that gets you there faster, smarter, and scam-free.
