Nigerian rapper, Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has sparked controversy after taking fresh shots at fellow artiste Odumodublvck in a new diss track titled ACL.

The track is part of his newly released 16-track album, No Excuses, which dropped on Friday, October 17, 2025.

The project features top collaborations and global producers, including Phyno, Olamide, Bella Shmurda, Pa Salieu, and Young Jonn.

Blaqbonez also released a cinematic video for Consistency, directed by DON Prod and featuring British rapper AJ Tracey.

According to the rapper, No Excuses marks what he calls his “Super Saiyan era”, a  phase of artistic freedom, global ambition, and boundary-breaking sound.

But one track, ACL, has become the main topic of debate on social media, especially on X (formerly Twitter), where fans believe Blaqbonez was throwing jabs at Odumodublvck.

In the record, he raps, “Make dem no tear their ACL ’cause they wan flow like Blaq / Failed rappers turning to internet gangsters.”

He also added another line many fans interpret as a direct mockery of Odumodublvck’s Anti-World Gang, saying,“Anti-World? More like anti-success.”

The new release has reopened their long-standing feud that began in February 2025, when Odumodublvck boasted that no rap project could rival his 2023 album Eziokwu.

The tension later intensified at the Headies Awards in April, where Odumodublvck was reportedly caught on camera flashing a middle finger in Blaqbonez’s direction.

No Excuses includes production credits from Jae5, Magicsticks, Blaisebeatz, and Black Culture, giving the project a rich blend of Afro-hip-hop and global rhythms.

Beyond music, Blaqbonez has also made waves in the fashion world. He recently became the first Nigerian artiste to walk the runway for Vivienne Westwood, and was also spotted front row at Vetements, MAINS, and Labrum shows in Europe.

Meanwhile, Odumodublvck, who released his fifth studio album, Industry Machine, on October 6, has yet to reply publicly to the diss. His album quickly reached No. 1 on Apple Music Nigeria, showing his continued dominance in the hip-hop scene.

As reactions continue to trail the lyrical shots, fans on social media remain divided over who truly deserves the crown of Nigerian rap.
