Following the success of Iyalode, FilmOne Entertainment has once again partnered with acclaimed filmmaker and actress, Toyin Abraham, to distribute her highly anticipated December film lineup.
The new collaboration reinforces the longstanding relationship between FilmOne and one of Nollywood’s most bankable stars, whose previous releases; including Alakada, and Iyalode delivered strong box office performances and solidified her reputation as a holiday season favorite.

The film, which was directed by Okechukwu Oku and Stanley Obi, is set within a typical Nigerian household and delves into the painful themes of betrayal and abandonment. The narrative explores how fractured family bonds can leave lasting scars of both pain and resilience.
Toyin Abraham, known for recent titles such as Iyalode (2025) and Alakada: Bad and Boujee, heads an ensemble cast. The supporting actors include Jide Kene Achufusi, Nosa Rex, Fred Ariko, Young Charles, Chukwuemeka Elijah, Precious Obahor, Tracy Obahor, Gregory Odiakosa, and Ibinabo Fiberesima.
Tare was executive-produced by Tracy Obahor and is slated for distribution across Nigeria by Blue Pictures Film in collaboration with Tracy Obahor Productions.
The film opens in cinemas nationwide on October 24, 2025.Marriage to AjeyemiIn June, the actress spoke in interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, glowingly about her current marriage to Ajeyemi, who is also her senior colleague in the movie industry.She described it as a relationship built on understanding, love and mutual support.
She said, “In real life he is very calm, he is a prayer warrior, whenever I go to Abeokuta he is always there. So we started getting close and then started dating. I did not want anybody to know at the time, but then I started getting fond of him. Whenever he wants to go to work, I will tag along. As time went on, I no longer cared what people had to say, so I took him to my parents he took me to his, we had a little introduction and then I got pregnant and then marriage followed.
“I come from a Christian home, so my family actually prayed about it and God revealed he was my husband. Now we have two kids, a boy and a girl.“Trust me, I married one of the best.
I will not say the best because there are other marriages I look up to like my godmother, but my husband is one of the best.”
