Abayomi Adeyeri Inducted into EKSU Alumni Hall of Fame

In a momentous celebration of excellence and service, Ekiti State University (EKSU) has bestowed one of its most illustrious old students, Abayomi Adeyeri, with the esteemed honour of induction into its Alumni Hall of Fame. This prestigious recognition cements Mr. Adeyeri’s unwavering commitment to leadership, community development, and alumni unity, solidifying his position as a beacon of inspiration for generations to come.

As a renowned business executive, philanthropist, and community leader who hail from owo in Ondo state, Mr. Adeyeri’s remarkable journey is a testament to the power of vision, hard work, and dedication. With a career spanning over three decades, he has left an indelible mark on the corporate landscape, while his humanitarian efforts have touched countless lives.

Through his tireless service, Mr. Adeyeri has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the Rotary ideal of “Service Above Self,” inspiring others to follow in his footsteps. His induction into the EKSU Alumni Hall of Fame is a fitting tribute to his selfless contributions, and a celebration of the values that have driven his success.

Business executive and philanthropist, Abayomi Adeyeri, honoured for outstanding contributions to leadership, service, and alumni development.

It was a moment of pride and fulfilment as Mr. Abayomi Adeyeri, FICA, HCIB, MBA, was formally inducted into the Ekiti State University (EKSU) Alumni Hall of Fame — an honour reserved for distinguished alumni who have made remarkable contributions to their professions, society, and the university community.

Expressing gratitude after the honour, Mr. Adeyeri described the recognition as “a memorable and truly humbling milestone.”

“This recognition is not just a personal honour but a celebration of the collective spirit of excellence and service that defines our great alma mater,” he said.

In his words of appreciation, Adeyeri extended heartfelt thanks to Ambassador Seyi Idowu, Global President of the EKSU Alumni Association, and the entire Global Executive Council for their leadership and commitment to alumni unity. He also acknowledged Dr. Kingsley Kuku, Chairman, Board of Trustees; Engr. Dipo Bamisaye, Immediate Past President; Past President Oludotun Adetunberu, and all Past Presidents of the association for their steadfast service and vision.

He further expressed profound appreciation to the Governor and Visitor to the University, His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for his unwavering support, as well as to the Chancellor, Dr. Tunji Olowolafe, and Vice Chancellor, Prof. Joseph Ayodele, for their outstanding leadership.

Above all, he paid tribute to his late mother, Dr. F. B. O. Ala, a pioneer lecturer in the Faculty of Education, whom he described as “the guiding light who nurtured my journey to the university and shaped my early path to success.”

A Distinguished Career and Life of Service

Mr. Abayomi Adeyeri is a respected business executive, philanthropist, and community leader whose professional and humanitarian engagements span over three decades.

An alumnus of Ekiti State University (then Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti), he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Botany and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the university of maidugiri, with additional certifications in management and leadership from Harvard University (via edx, 2020)

A Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Credit Administration and an Honourary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Adeyeri has provided visionary leadership in both the public and private sectors, focusing on strategic management, human capacity development, and business transformation.

He is also an active Rotarian, committed to service, education, and community empowerment, reflecting the Rotary ideal of “Service Above Self.”

Inducted along with him are Ekiti State Governor, HE Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, Speaker, Ekiti State, Rt Hon Adeoye Aribasoye, Barr Tope Adebayo, Dr Tope Fasua, Dr Kingsley Kuku, Dr Tayo Alle, Dr Tunji Arowolo, Ms Busola Ogunmakinwa, Mrs Omotayo Adeola and many other distinguished Nigerians.

Mr. Adeyeri continues to inspire through mentorship, philanthropy, and advocacy for ethical leadership. His induction into the EKSU Alumni Hall of Fame stands as a fitting recognition of a life dedicated to excellence, service, and humanity.

He is the author of a motivational book titled; Multiple Bold Steps. He is the CEO of Flobal Finance Company, one of the few thriving CBN licensed Finance Companies from the South-South and South East in Nigeria is the CEO of Flobal Group.
