The inaugural boxing event titled “Valentine’s Day Massacre”, is scheduled to take place on February 14, 2026, at Bariga Stadium, CMS Primary School in Bariga, Lagos.

With Firo Boxing Promotion set for the first edition, the chief host, Tijani Adedamola Taofeek described the event as “mind-blowing and history-making”, aimed at giving back to the community where he grew up.

“It is the first of its kind in Bariga and to me, it’s a way of giving back to my community,” Adedamola said. “Bariga is blessed with so many talents and boxing seems to be the biggest sport among Bariga youths.”

The event will feature nine exciting bouts, including: Oluwatosin Adeshina versus Akeem Adewale; Kabiru Towolawi versus Sunday Abuse; Taiwo Olowu vs. Modric Adeshina and Bolatito Oluwole vs. Aminat Yekini.

Other fights will see Lekan Muibi take on Justin Hounkpebi; Abudul-afeez Osoba will trade tackles against Hamza Idris; it’s Adegoke Hammed vs. Afeez Enroll; Emmanuel Abimbola vs. Nurudeen Iyiola while Sulaimon Habeeb will go fist-to-fist against Fatai Bello.

According to the organisers, the event will kick off at 5pm on Saturday, Valentine’s Day, promising an unforgettable night of boxing action.
