Logistics institution unveils academic advisory board

A trade and logistics training institution, Multimix Academy has established an academic advisory board to strengthen global standards in supply chain education.

Making the announcement, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Multimix Academy, Dr. Obiora Madu, said the move marked a significant milestone in the institution’s commitment to world-class supply chain education.

The academic advisory board, Madu said, comprised professionals from academia, industry, and international trade organisations who will provide strategic oversight on curriculum quality, industry alignment, and the academy’s evolution as a leading center of excellence in supply chain management education across Africa.

He said the board’s primary responsibilities include curriculum excellence, by ensuring programmes reflect current industry practices, emerging global trends and international academic standards

On industry relevance, Madu said it plans to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application in African and global supply chain operations.

He said the board would also be responsible for quality assurance, strategic direction through partnerships with global educational and industry bodies as well as strengthening Multimix Academy’s reputation as Africa’s premier supply chain education provider.

He said: “The establishment of our Academic Advisory Board represents our unwavering commitment to delivering education that transforms careers and drives industry advancement.

“With over two decades of training with more than 1,000 supply chain executives through our programmes, we recognise that maintaining excellence requires continuous evolution guided by the brightest minds in our field.”
