Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reacted to an Indian man, Govind Kadak, who said his life changed after meeting the artiste at a hotel in India.
On Thursday, Davido posted the message on his Instagram story alongside a photo of himself with Kadak.
In the message, Kadak told the singer that he was about to buy a new car, adding that it had been “almost 1.4 years” since they met.
He wrote, “Hello Sir Davido,
“With your blessings, I am going to buy a new car. It has been almost 1.4 years since I met you in the hotel. From the day we met, my whole life has changed, and everything has become good.
“Sir, you are a very good person. I love you, sir. May God give you lots of happiness, and may you and your family receive even the happiness that belongs to my share as well.”
Reacting, Davido wrote, “Wow met this dude in India last year and posted him on my IG snap was a very loyal butler of mine at the hotel we stayed in … you never know when God is using you”.
The post stirred reactions online, with many fans praising the singer for showing kindness to people he meets.
Davido has also been in the news in recent days over other gestures that went viral on social media.
Days ago, the 33-year-old singer also flew a TikTok chef, Jaskaro, and his mother from Delta State to Lagos for a dinner date, a moment that later surfaced online.
In the video, the singer also gifted Jaskaro’s mother N10m cash, which was packaged inside a Bagco sack, while the chef received a bundle of money.
After the dinner, the chef later shared a video saying he was invited to cook at Eko Hotel, where he claimed he prepared his signature coconut pasta for executives during the hospitality centre’s 50th anniversary celebration.
