The Iconic Brand Africa (TIBA) has announced the appointment of new advisory board members alongside the formal reintroduction of its long-standing members.
The organisation, on Tuesday in Lagos, stated that the appointment aimed to strengthen its impact and expand its reach.
The founder of the organisation, Omobabinrin Osideko, said that the development marks a significant milestone in its ongoing transformation and renewed commitment to leadership excellence across Africa.
Dr Omotola Dayo-Adedapo, Chairperson of the advisory board, stated that the repositioning is designed to strengthen TIBA’s strategic vision and drive sustainable growth through intentional positioning and thought leadership.
Dayo-Adedapo introduced the newly appointed board members: Dr Livingstone Makori, Dr Adeleke Adesina, Abiola Aderibigbe, Abayomi Sowemimo, and Dr Olawale Ogunlana, all of whom bring extensive expertise, innovation, and strategic insight to the board.
The chairperson explained that the organisation’s new direction focuses on positioning TIBA as a credible institution for leadership and brand development. She noted that the organisation is evolving beyond a recognition-based platform to a model centred on long-term value creation, capacity building, and institutional relevance across Africa.
“These new appointments reflect our dedication to quality, excellence, and dynamic leadership capable of responding to the demands of today’s evolving professional landscape,” she said.
TIBA also reintroduced its board members who have continued to serve the organisation.
They include Omobabirin Adeola Osideko, Gladys Amadi, Hilda Manyo-Dickson, Juliet Kimson, and Stella Olugbemi.
Dayo-Adedapo added that their continued presence ensures stability, continuity, and the preservation of TIBA’s core values as the organisation enters its next phase of growth and expansion.
She emphasised that TIBA’s repositioning is anchored on four strategic pillars: leadership, branding, influence, and business growth.
To deliver on this mandate, the organisation continues to operate through four strategic arms designed to drive leadership development and brand excellence across the continent.
TIBA Academy serves as the learning and development arm, delivering executive education, leadership training, and professional development programmes. TIBA Consult provides advisory and consulting services across leadership development, branding, organisational culture, and business growth. TIBA Community functions as a curated ecosystem of professionals and emerging leaders, fostering mentorship, collaboration, and continuous growth. TIBA Awards and Conference remains the organisation’s flagship convening and recognition platform, now repositioned around leadership conversations, with the Annual Leadership Conference serving as its central focus.
The chairperson said that, through these integrated platforms, TIBA delivers a comprehensive model that combines learning, advisory services, community building, and recognition, ensuring sustained impact and long-term relevance across Africa.
The newly appointed advisory board members noted that this new chapter signals a period of strategic growth, premium delivery, intentional collaboration, and structured purpose across TIBA’s operations, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
TIBA founder, Osideko, noted that by blending fresh perspectives with seasoned experience and selective partnerships, the organisation is well-positioned to achieve greater milestones through shaping leadership conversations, developing transformational leaders, and creating measurable impact across the continent.
“TIBA extends its appreciation to stakeholders for their continued trust and support as the organisation advances on this transformative journey,” she added.
