Our youths need alignments with the government

Nigerian youths

Sir, our country is lucky to have industrious youths, and the only thing that is bringing setbacks to their political inclusion is the lack of a true sponsorship – there is nothing too hard in supporting them on merit and indication of political inclusion.

The political negligence of our youths has introduced a great deal of social media misusage. Hence, their negligible factors on social interactions have elevated the noise of illogical arguments and judgments of political participation.

Our global index on corruption and transparency is a result of the high rate of cyber crime and terrorism orchestrated by the unemployment of the youths and nonessential palliatives to the youths. And in that regard, the free ground given to our youths to make living in ways they could make it has given us bad name among our counterparts. It is, therefore, on this that the government should address issues of unemployment and palliative to give our youths a meaningful life. In order to perfect this on a reasonable scale, our youths must be supported for exclusive inclusion in governance.

If the youths are guided for exploit, they should be given essential care. This care should touch on regular seminars and conferences for self-discipline and leadership skills.

Our youths need these life-earning and life-saving education to establish the forwardness of life. If we should wait until our youths are all-around mature for political leadership, we are not ready to secure lasting legacies as their ignorance would destroy all that have been expensively labored for.

On the other hand, our youths should get ready to work in hand with the government for desirable results.

The social media abuses on government policies would never help us and our economies.

Youths should be bold enough to organize a neutral movement that specializes in advocating for good governance and youth inclusion in governance.

This would give directives on how to regulate the objectives of the youths in politics. And by all means, government officials should honor their invitation to collectively address irregularities in our dear country.

Youths are ready. The government has to put them in the space so that we can have a truly progressive nation. Any excuse to demonstrate frustration of the plan and decision is simply an enemy of our youths and nation. Just as the youths is the power of the government, so as the government is the power of the youths.

No one should be treated awkwardly. The youths must modify and strengthen government policies that are developmentally inclined.

The government should also modify and strengthen the needs of the youths. With this, the nation will experience balanced human and infrastructural developments.

We don’t have any other country. We must work together to make our nation grow the way we want.

The youths and the government must buy time for one another in order to have a functional governance.

I urge this government to give citizens strong consideration. If all sectors of our economy are functional, citizens would have no other option than to advocate for continuity of the government.

It is on this note that I do call on Mr. President to regulate and appropriate functions for the betterment of the youths and citizens at large.

Finally, I do urge our youths to remain law abiding and to press more on a regulative initiatives that can attracts attention of the political and religious leaders, traditional rulers and celebrities for an exclusive movement that can squarely and fairly negotiate their political inclusion in governance.

Youths should be the frontiers of their political future. There should be 50 percent of youths in government to standardize functionalities among youths. Hence, a functional nation is a result of balanced youths in governance and in all sectors of the economy.
