The Old Students’ Association of African Church Grammar School, Apata Ganga, Ibadan, has congratulated Ayo Omotayo on his reappointment as Director-General of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).
In a statement issued on Friday in Ibadan, the association described the decision by Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a recognition of Omotayo’s exemplary leadership and significant contributions to the institute since assuming office.
The statement, signed by the National General Secretary of the association, Ayotunde Ayodiran, said Omotayo’s administrative competence and scholarly achievements had helped position NIPSS as a leading institution in policy research and leadership development.
According to the association, the renewal of his tenure reflects confidence in his ability to further strengthen the institute’s role in nurturing leaders and shaping public policy in Nigeria.
“The reappointment underscores your exemplary leadership as an astute administrator and erudite scholar with rare organisational acumen, which has propelled the prestigious institute to greater heights since you assumed office,” the statement read.
It added that the development reinforces the belief that outstanding performance often attracts greater responsibility in service to the nation.
The association also expressed optimism that Omotayo, a distinguished alumnus of the school, would continue to leverage his experience in academia and public administration to deepen the institute’s contribution to national development.
Members further prayed for wisdom and strength for him to excel in the new tenure and continue to advance the institute to greater heights, while upholding the values and legacy of the school.
