APC group donates funds to boost voter registration, Tinubu’s re-election.

A support group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), BTO4PBAT, at the weekend launched a financial intervention in two local council areas of Ondo State in order to enhance the mobilisation drive for voter registration.

While disclosing that the move will assist to fortify grassroots political structures ahead of the 2027 polls, the group maintained that it will also consolidate support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

The Director-General BTO4PBAT27, Adojutelegan Adesuyi, stated this during the commencement of the second phase of its ward tour across Ondo State, with visits to Akoko South East and Akoko South West local council areas.

According to Adesuyi, the initiative was designed to strengthen the party’s presence at the grassroots and engage directly with community-level stakeholders.

Addressing party members and supporters during the tour, Adesuyi expressed appreciation for the continued dedication of grassroots members to the party and the administration of Tinubu, urging them to remain committed and sustain their support for the President’s Renewed Hope agenda.

Adesuyi explained that the ward tour is aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation, deepening unity within party structures, and encouraging wider participation in the democratic process, particularly through voter registration.

The Director-General of the group announced financial support for party activities in the two local governments, with ₦1 million donated to Akoko South East and ₦1.5 million to Akoko South West to assist party structures in mobilising members and eligible residents to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of future elections.

The coordinator for Akoko South East, Muyideen Suleiman, commended the leadership of the support group for bringing the mobilisation initiative to the grassroots, assuring that members in the area would intensify efforts to boost voter registration and maintain strong support for the party.

Similarly, the Coordinator for Akoko South West, Comrade Afolabi Emmanuel, reaffirmed the commitment of party members in the local government area to the vision of the support group.

He pledged that residents would continue to be mobilised in support of the administration of President Tinubu.

Other party stakeholders present at the event, in their separate remarks, encouraged members and residents to remain supportive of the policies and programmes of Tinubu and to stay actively engaged in party activities.

The Publicity Secretary of BTO4PBAT27, Folajimi Adewumi Gbenga, noted that the Phase Two ward tour forms part of the group’s broader strategy to consolidate grassroots structures, promote voter awareness, and strengthen support for the administration across the state.

The event drew participation from party leaders, youth groups, women leaders, and other stakeholders who reaffirmed their loyalty and readiness to work collectively toward strengthening the party and advancing the Renewed Hope agenda.
