The Lagos High Court has warned alleged trespassers to steer clear of land belonging to Winhomes Estate Global Services Ltd, granting an interim injunction restraining them from interfering with the property located at Okun-Ajah in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State.
The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Stella Ifeoma Okengwu, while reacting to the ruling said the court order protects the estate land measuring approximately 18.838 hectares situated at Okun-Ajah.
According to court documents, the order restrains the named respondents and anyone acting on their behalf from trespassing on or interfering with the disputed property while the case remains before the court.
The injunction recognises that the land is currently under dispute and directs that no party should tamper with it until the legal process is concluded.
Okengwu described the ruling as a significant legal step towards safeguarding the estate and protecting the investments of subscribers.
She commended subscribers who have remained patient and supportive throughout the legal process, noting that their cooperation had strengthened the company’s position in the dispute.
The CEO also warned that any attempt to sabotage the legal process would undermine the collective effort to resolve the matter, stressing that the law would take its course against anyone acting contrary to the interest of the estate.
