Amy Madigan has won the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2026 Oscars, defeating Nigerian-British actress Wunmi Mosaku at the 98th edition of the Academy Awards.

The ceremony held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in Hollywood, United States, with comedian and television host Conan O’Brien returning as the host.

Madigan’s win marked the first award announced on the night, placing her ahead of Mosaku and other nominees in the highly competitive Best Supporting Actress category.
