She resides at Plot 9, Ola Jesu Close, Kampala, Olambe, and was previously employed as a teacher in a private school in Olambe, Akute, Ogun State.
Balogun has already undergone eight chemotherapy treatments, along with using supplements to boost her immunity and pain relief drugs.
She said that the cost of a single chemo treatment exceeds N200,000.
The cancer patient was also scheduled for a surgical operation last year, but it was delayed due to a strike in the health sector.
The estimated cost of the surgery is N6 million.
Additionally, her 20-month-old baby, Ademola Oluwatiresimi Tabitha, is undergoing an MRI Rhabdomyosarcoma biopsy test for a large tumor growing behind her left thigh.
Tabitha is receiving medical care at the Federal Orthopedic Hospital, Igbobi, Yaba, Lagos, and the results of her biopsy test are pending.
Currently, the husband, Mr Oyinade Ademola, who works as a teacher in a private school located in Opic along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, is the sole breadwinner of their family of four, including his wife and two daughters.
The financial burden of treating both the mother and the baby is overwhelmimg for him to handle alone, despite some support from relatives, friends, and employers.
