The Ward 1 leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sapele Local Government Area, Delta State, has announced the indefinite suspension of a member, Paul Oyiborume, over allegations of anti-party activities and disruptive conduct.

The decision followed an emergency executive committee meeting held on Sunday after the ward received what it described as a “very disturbing petition” concerning the member.

Party officials stated that the move became necessary following deliberations on issues related to internal discipline, adherence to party guidelines, and action deemed capable of bringing the party into disrepute.

The ward executives cited multiple allegations against Oyiborume, including prolonged inactivity in party affairs, opposition to zoning arrangements ahead of the national convention, and alleged disruption of a key party meeting in Abuja.
