15 Years On: Aisha reflects on daughter’s Nail Bar journey

The mother of the Chief Executive Officer of The Nail Bar, Aisha Abraham, has shared insights into her daughter’s entrepreneurial journey as the brand celebrated 15 years of promoting holistic beauty and wellbeing in Abuja.

She praised the CEO wishing her greater heights as she continues to set the pace in the beauty industry.

Abraham disclosed this in Abuja, during the 15th anniversary celebration of The Nail Bar, a beauty and wellness firm founded by an entrepreneur Ameera Abraham.

She recalled her initial reservations about her daughter, Ameera Abraham, venturing into business, noting that she had preferred she take up a 9-to-5 job to gain experience.

She said: “I supported her because I believed in her vision. Today, she has proven that with determination and focus, success is achievable.”

In her remarks, the CEO, Ameera Abraham, said the company’s growth has been driven by its commitment to transforming clients and boosting their self-esteem through holistic care.

She acknowledged the challenges of running The Nail Bar at the beginning, but added that with structure, hard work and consistency, the business has grown from strength to strength over the last 15 years.

Also speaking, a former First Lady of Kebbi State, Dr Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu commended Mrs Ameera Abraham, praising her for her exceptional services and for leading the beauty industry with innovative ideas.

She affirmed her support for the CEO, even as she gave financial support for her newly launched foundation.

Speaking on the future of women entrepreneurs in the beauty industry, CEO of A.S Management Agency, Rhoda Kusimo Iloba, emphasised the importance of access to information, adding that, “Information remains the bedrock to unlock access to the finance needed to run a business.”

She encouraged women to believe in themselves, adding that entrepreneurship is possible with confidence and consistent hard work while calling on the government to be present at levels where individuals can access.

The event featured award presentations and panel discussions focusing on sustainability, innovation and access to finance, highlighting the evolving dynamics of Nigeria’s beauty industry.
