The France chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party’s leadership for the successful conduct of its just-concluded national convention, describing it as seamless, well-coordinated, and a reflection of party unity.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by its Chairperson, Amina Suzuki, the chapter described the convention as a “world-class political gathering devoid of rancour or disruption.”
According to the statement, the smooth conduct of the exercise has effectively countered criticism from opposition parties.
“This convention has once again demonstrated that the APC remains Nigeria’s most organised and forward-looking political party. The opposition, as usual, has been left with nothing to exploit,” she said.
The chapter also praised the Chairman of the Convention Organising Committee, Aminu Bello Masari, former governor of Katsina State, and members of his team for what it described as meticulous planning and disciplined execution.
It further congratulated President Tinubu on his birthday, noting that the successful convention serves as “a strong endorsement of his leadership.”
The statement highlighted the role of the accreditation sub-committee for diplomats, observers, and the diaspora community, commending the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) and the committee leadership for ensuring seamless coordination and logistics.
“They delivered excellent organisation and created an inclusive atmosphere that made the diaspora community feel fully integrated and valued,” the statement added.
The chapter reaffirmed its commitment to the party’s ideals and expressed confidence that the success of the convention would further strengthen the APC’s position both within Nigeria and across the global diaspora.
