President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

The Borno State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Senator Kashim Shettima as the party’s candidates to contest the forthcoming 2027 general elections in the country..

The endorsement to contest the Presidency was reached at a high-level critical stakeholders’ meeting held on Saturday in Maiduguri, the state capital.

The APC stakeholders’ meeting   presided over by Governor Babagana Zulum drew an unprecedented attendance from  the political party stalwarts in each of the 27 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Borno state.

The resolution of endorsement to contest was reaffirmed, following a motion by Zulum, supporting the Tinubu/Shettima presidential tickets for the 2027 general elections on the platform of APC.

Besides endorsing Tinubu and Shettima for re-election in 2027, Governor Zulum, urged the stakeholders for all hands to be on deck to ensure what he described as, a massive vote for the APC in Borno state in next year’s general polls.
