Nigeria-American rising artist, Chinedu James Udom, better known as CJBLAYZ, has dropped four new singles, declaring his arrival with a message of resilience, ambition, and unstoppable energy.
The four singles include Fear no Evil, Cfireburn, Better Future, and Energy 2.
In a recent interview, the budding star who hails from Oguta in Imo State, revealed that the back-to-back release was intentional, driven by a surge of creative momentum and a desire to make a strong impression on listeners worldwide.
“I dropped these Four singles because I’m in a moment where my drive is unstoppable. I wanted the world to feel that energy, I’m showing I can give you back-to-back hits with no delay,” he said.
Blending African roots with a modern global sound, CJBLAYZ describes his music as “bold, uplifting, and unstoppable,” positioning himself as an artist who is not just creating songs, but building a brand that cuts across music, fashion, and lifestyle.
“I’m not just making music; I’m building an empire, music, fashion, inspiration. I bring a whole lifestyle,” he added.
According to the artist, the four singles each carry a distinct but complementary message. One track, “Energy,” is deeply personal, reflecting his journey, struggles, and the determination that kept him going through tough times.
The other track, “Better Future,” is more outward-looking, inspired by his vision of hope and progress for a wider audience.
“‘Energy’ feels more personal. It’s literally my story, the fire that kept me going,” he explained. “The other track is about that ‘Better Future’ I see for everyone.”
Adding to that momentum, CJBLAYZ has also released “Fear No Evil,” featuring Jamaican-American artist Crucial FIYA. “Fear No Evil” is a bold anthem of courage, and we’re currently working on the video, expect it to drop soon, so stay tuned for that surprise.
CJBLAYZ emphasized that his core mission is to inspire listeners, urging them to pursue their dreams relentlessly despite challenges.
“I want listeners to feel unstoppable, like whatever their dreams are, they can get up and chase them,” he said.
His creative process, he noted, is rooted in emotion and persistence. “I start with the feeling, build the beat, and we craft until it’s fire,” he said, highlighting the intentional effort behind his sound.
The artist believes fans will connect deeply with the authenticity embedded in his music. “They’ll connect with the realness, the story of hustle and hope in both tracks,” he noted.
Before venturing fully into music, CJBLAYZ began his creative journey in Africa through fashion design, a background that continues to influence his artistic expression and brand identity today.
“My journey began in Africa, designing fashion, then I turned that creative energy into music,” he revealed.
Like many independent artists, CJBLAYZ faced significant hurdles breaking into the industry, including moments of doubt.
“I almost gave up when doors didn’t open, but my vision wouldn’t let me quit,” he admitted, adding that the experience strengthened his resolve and work ethic.
Looking ahead, the artist is optimistic about his trajectory. With plans to release a full EP soon and hints at collaborations with notable names, he is positioning himself for a broader global reach.
“Next? You’re getting a full EP, this is just the beginning,” he teased. “Watch out for some big names, I’m always working on something.”
He also envisions himself performing on bigger stages internationally in the near future. “Next year, I see myself on bigger stages, global reach, taking the world by storm,” he said.
CJBLAYZ describes his music as a lifestyle anchored on ambition, hustle, and joy, aiming to empower listeners and leave a lasting impact.
“When fans listen, I want them to feel empowered, like they can take on the world,” he said.
For him, the ultimate reward has been hearing from fans who feel inspired by his work. “The most surprising reaction? People telling me my song made them want to chase their dream, that’s priceless,” he added.
As he continues to grow his brand and audience, CJBLAYZ hopes his name will become synonymous with resilience, creativity, and global inspiration. “If my singles were a message,” he concluded, “they say, ‘You got this, don’t stop.’”
