The Imam at the National Mosque of Nigeria, Abuja, Dr. Abdulkadir Solagberu has commended the Registrar/Chief Executive of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Is-haq Olanrewaju Oloyede, for taking JAMB to a new level in probity and service delivery.

In a statement issued in Ilorin, Solagberu described Prof. Oloyede’s tenure as the golden age in the annals of the examinations body.

According to the Malami Ubandoma of Ilorin, Prof. Oloyede has worked so hard to promote JAMB to “a level that it has not only become the nation’s most admirable and credible examinations body but also a model for other public institutions.”

He added that he was particularly happy that the former Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, has proven to be a good ambassador of the Nigerian Muslim community and has not disappointed his primary constituency and the nation either as an academic or administrator.

He urged Oloyede, who is also the Secretary-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and Kuliyan Sokoto, to continue to work hard, saying that his place in the history of the nation’s public service remains secured and glowing.

Solagberu, the proprietor of the proposed Darul Kitab University, while saluting Oloyede’s patriotism and creativity, urged other Nigerians, particularly Muslims, to emulate his sterling qualities for the nation to achieve its full potentials.

The cleric wished Oloyede long life, sound health and happiness to enable him serve Allah and humanity for more years to come.
