Founders, business operators discuss realities of entrepreneurship

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)

The Founder’s Weight, at the weekend, brought together more than 50 founders, entrepreneurs, operators, and business leaders for candid conversations, practical business insights, and meaningful networking.

The event, held at The Afrobeat, EbonyLife Place, Victoria Island, Lagos, attracted over 150 registrations, highlighting the growing need for spaces where founders can openly discuss the realities of entrepreneurship and receive practical guidance from experienced business operators.

The Founder’s Weight, founded by Dera Ndidigwe, was created to provide business owners with direct access to experienced operators, honest conversations, practical solutions, and a community that understands the pressures of building and scaling businesses.

It also focuses on real founder challenges, real business questions, and practical conversations designed to help make better decisions.

Ndidigwe, while speaking on the purpose behind the platform, said: “Founder’s Weight was created because founders need more than motivation. They need access. They need perspective. They need honest conversations.”

“Most importantly, they need rooms where they can ask the questions they cannot ask publicly and receive practical guidance from people who have walked the path before them.”

Meanwhile, Founder’s Weight 2.0 was supported by strategic partners, including Kiah Visuals, Reisty, The Truth Corporate, and Golden GFX Studios, whose contributions helped to make the experience possible.

Beyond the conversations on stage, attendees connected with fellow founders, exchanged ideas, explored collaborations, and became part of a growing ecosystem designed to support business owners beyond a single event.

Founder’s Weight is a quarterly conversation-led platform for founders, entrepreneurs, and business owners seeking practical clarity for their businesses.

The platform, however, allows founders to ask their personal and individual business questions directly to experienced operators who have built, scaled, and managed nine-figure businesses, receiving honest, practical, and actionable answers drawn from real-world experience.
