BoyCode Africa secures Sunbeth Global Concepts as headline partner for Bootcamp 5.0

BoyCode Africa has announced Sunbeth Global Concepts as headline partner for BoyCode Bootcamp 5.0, sponsoring 50 young men from Ondo and Cross River for intensive leadership and digital skills training.

BoyCode Africa has announced Sunbeth Global Concepts as the official Headline Partner of the 5th edition of the BoyCode Bootcamp, its flagship residential leadership and workforce development programme designed to equip young men with the skills, discipline, and mindset required to thrive in today’s evolving global economy.

As part of this partnership, Sunbeth Global Concepts will fully sponsor 50 young men aged 13 to 23 from its sourcing communities in Ondo and Cross River State, providing full access to a structured, immersive training programme focused on digital skills, leadership development, emotional intelligence, and workplace readiness.

The partnership represents one of the most significant private-sector commitments to youth development in the region and reflects a growing recognition of the role structured human capital development plays in addressing unemployment and economic exclusion among young people.

The BoyCode Bootcamp is a residential, high-intensity programme that goes beyond traditional skills training. It is designed to transform participants through a structured system that integrates technical competence, leadership development, discipline, and personal accountability.

Participants undergo a carefully curated learning experience that prepares them not only for employment in the digital economy, but also for entrepreneurship, leadership, and civic responsibility.

Unlike conventional training programmes, BoyCode Africa’s model is outcome-driven and long-term in design, focusing on measurable transformation rather than short-term exposure.

Since its inception in 2021, BoyCode Africa has built a community of over 3,000  and trained over 200 young men across Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya through its residential cohorts and community-based programmes.

Independent tracking of alumni outcomes indicates that over 70% of participants transition into employment, entrepreneurship, or structured leadership pathways within 12 months of programme completion.

Alumni of the programme have gone on to:

  • Secure roles in technology and creative industries
  • Launch early-stage businesses and startups
  • Participate in international internships and fellowships
  • Earn fully funded academic and leadership scholarships

These outcomes have positioned BoyCode Africa as one of the emerging models for structured youth transformation in West Africa.

Speaking on the partnership, Precious Eniayekan, Founder of BoyCode Africa, described the collaboration as a defining step in scaling access to structured opportunities for young men in underserved communities.

“BoyCode was created to solve a fundamental problem, the gap between potential and opportunity,” she said.

“What makes this partnership significant is not only the sponsorship of 50 young men, but the shared belief that transformation must be intentional, structured, and measurable. These young men are not being given charity. They are being given access to a system that demands discipline and produces outcomes.”

She further emphasized that the future of workforce development lies in early intervention and structured exposure to real-world expectations.

“We are building more than skills. We are building a structured pipeline that converts underserved boys into economically productive, digitally skilled contributors to Africa’s workforce. We are solving the problem of idle male youth, one of the most under-addressed drivers of economic instability and social risk in Africa.

For Sunbeth Global Concepts, the partnership reflects its long-term commitment to sustainable development through human capital empowerment.

“Economic transformation begins with people,” said Eyitemi Adebowale, Head Corporate Affairs and Communications at Sunbeth Global Concepts. “The future of our industries and communities depends on how we invest in young people today. BoyCode Africa has shown a structured, measurable approach to that challenge, and we are proud to have continued supporting its work in the last three years.”

The sponsorship of 50 young men underscores Sunbeth’s broader commitment to community development and workforce readiness in its sourcing communities.

The 50 beneficiaries of this sponsorship will be drawn directly from communities within Ondo State and Cross River State, ensuring that the impact of the programme is both targeted and locally grounded.

The initiative is expected to contribute not only to individual transformation but also to broader community outcomes, including improved employability, reduced vulnerability to unemployment, and increased access to digital opportunities.

Stakeholders emphasize that programmes such as BoyCode Bootcamp play a critical role in bridging the gap between formal education and labour market realities in Nigeria.

The 5th edition of the BoyCode Bootcamp will take place from 22nd of June 2026 in Lagos, Nigeria.

The residential programme will bring together selected participants for an intensive period of training focused on Digital and technical skills development, Leadership and character formation, communication and workplace readiness, problem-solving and critical thinking, personal discipline and accountability systems.
